You may not know about the VW Scirocco if your based in the US. So basically it is a beautiful looking VW that is somewhat of a baby GTI in performance and has been known to get the ire of car reviewers worldwide because its beauty on the outside doesnt translate to the drive...Anyways its been 30 years since the first Scirocco so VW is coming out with a GTS version. The GTS will feature a sporty look with stripes on the outside and a tuned 2.0 turbo engine producing 210hpm 0-60 in 6.9 seconds, and a top speed of 148mph.

Gordon Ramsey was injured this weekend in the annual Soccer aid match at Old Trafford. The bad tackle by Teddy Sheringham caused Gordon to be stretchered off the pitch and a stay in the hospital for a few days.

Gumball 3000 Starts Tomorrow!

The now legendary road race kicks off its 14th edition tomorrow in NYC's times square at noon. I will be there to attend the festivities. If your not familiar with the Gumball, it is a wild race that takes place over a few days and has various check points along the way. Everyone from rich elite to celebrities to athletes compete and some of the worlds most exclusive cars take part in it. This year it takes part in the US & Canada and if you are based there and want to hang out driving on the highway to see any of these cars/people check the link here. Should be a great Gumball and sure to be some hilarious videos on the way. I'll definitely posting some photos of Fridays kickoff event. See you there! Now these have been leaked already so this may not be news to you but the new Barca shirts were officially revealed today. Probably in my opinion the most controversial design of the year so far for all the major clubs. There has been a bit of uproar over Man Utd's checkers and the Arsenal blue strips on sleeves but these are the most drastic shirts for all the big clubs this year. What Nike is thinking in taking the stripes away from Barca's kit and making an away kit that literally is hard to look at is mind boggling at this point but lets see how it looks on the field....still it is making people talk about it and not about Barca not winning much this year...
